Academic Positions is a strategic talent-attraction partner to the research domain, connecting organizations with top academic talent across the globe. Our purpose is to contribute to new discoveries and scientific breakthroughs by improving international researcher mobility and encouraging people to pursue academic careers.
We are currently in an expansion phase and looking to recruit a business development manager to join our recently opened office in Berlin and be a part of our journey to become the world’s largest platform and authority in the academic recruitment market.
As part of the Business Development Team, you will develop your portfolio of international universities and research institutes across the industry by making new connections, building relationships, and identifying and pursuing high-potential business opportunities. You will manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, stakeholder management, presenting, and negotiating—all of which require exceptional sales and business development skills.
The ideal candidate has high ambitions and a strong drive and enjoys working in a high-pace, high-demand, and high-reward environment.
Business experience from international public institutions is merit.
We don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it to the benefit of our employees and our community. Academic Positions is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and an international workplace. We strive to live up to our core values (proud, brave, curious, fun, and passionate) in everything we do and create a dynamic environment to facilitate personal growth and professional development. We work in a bright new office space with great views in the middle of the city centre. Learn more about our team, people, and values at weare.academicpositions.com.
